Fatal Crash on I-65 Claims Life of Prattville Man

A two-vehicle crash on Oct. 30, has claimed the life of a Prattville man.

Derek Ray Dison, 25, was killed when the 2007 Toyota Rav4 he was driving was struck by a 2001 Honda Accord on Interstate 65 near the 196 mile marker, approximately 9 miles south of Clanton. The Toyota left the roadway and overturned after the collision.

Dison, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
