Annual Holiday House Ushers in the Christmas Holiday Season in Selma

From the West Alabama Newsroom–

The annual Holiday House marks the start of the Christmas holiday season each year in Selma.

The arts and crafts sale has been going strong for close to four decades and become part of the community’s holiday tradition.

Holiday House offers a unique opportunity to purchase holiday wares from more than two dozen of the best craftspeople and artisans in the area.

It’s also the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Old Depot Museum.

“That’s why everybody needs to come out and support it so that we can continue to have our museums in Selma,” said Holiday House shopper Marie Headley. “It gives a history for our children and our visitors to enjoy.”

Holiday House is held annually during the first two full weeks in December.

It’s open from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the Striplin Performing Arts Center.

It wraps up Saturday, December 17th.
