Golden Apple: David Rudd

Our Golden Apple Award winner this week comes from Saint James School in Montgomery. In his 24th year of teaching, David Rudd, thinks he has “IT” figured out when it come to teaching his world history and world religions & philosophies classes.

“I think that the most import things is to establish a relationship with the students. Kinda of a mutual trust thing, that they know I have a job to do. An if they respect me enough that I can do that job, than I’ll respect them enough that we can try and have some fun in the process,” says David Rudd.

Congratulations Mr. Rudd! If you know of a great educator we should be recognized, you can nominate them by going to our website, Alabama News dot Net, click on the “Golden Apple” banner and fill out the nomination form.
