New Monument Coming to Alabama Capitol Building Grounds
It will honor The Bill of Rights
A non-profit group wants to create monuments to the U.S. Bill of Rights at each of the state capitals….and Alabama is one of the first states to start the process.
The group MyBillOfRights.org wants a monument built in each state capital.
They say The Alabama Legislature approved the monument and a location in the regular session this year. No word so far on a design, but the monument will be located between the South Wing and The South Terrace of the Capitol Building.
