Man Robbed at Gunpoint, Tied Up & Thrown in the Trunk of Car

Robbed at gunpoint, tied up and thrown into a trunk, that’s what one man says happened to him Friday in broad daylight at a local park.

The man who asked to not be identified says he was walking at Gateway Park in Montgomery, when two men came up behind him and robbed him at gunpoint.  When he told them he did not have his wallet they tied him up and put him in the trunk of his car.   He says they drove to get his wallet and then took money out from an ATM.   When they finally let him go he says they fired a gunshot in his direction but he was not hit.

“I would tell anybody, man, woman child, boy, girl, whatever the case do not go to that park alone no matter what time it is,” the man explained.

Montgomery Police are investigating this case.  They tell us the car has been recovered but no arrests have been made.
