Judge to Allow One Representative from Each Candidate to be Present at Election Center

A judge has ordered that each candidate in the Montgomery runoff elections is entitled to have a duly-appointed watcher present at the Montgomery Election Center. They will be allowed to have someone there from the time machines are prepared to process absentee ballots until all vote counts are counted.
This ruling by Judge Johnny Hardwick comes in wake of a Temporary Restraining Order filed by David Woods against the Montgomery Election Center against the decision to ban the public and campaign poll watchers from accessing the Montgomery Election Center during Tuesday’s municipal runoff election.
David Woods and Steven Reed are vying for the office of Mayor of Montgomery.
