Covington County Sheriff Blake Turman Tests Positive for COVID-19

Covington County Sheriff Blake Turman says he has tested positive for COVID-19.

The sheriff made the announcement in a Facebook post late Wednesday evening.

Sheriff Turman says other than having no taste or smell, he feels fine and has been quarantined for awhile.

He says despite his absence, services will continue operating like normal at the department.
