Former Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa Named Starter for Dolphins

Per ESPN’s AdamSchefter, former Alabama Quarterback Tua Tagaovailoa named starter for the Miami Dolphins. Tagovailoa made his NFL debut in a blowout win Sunday versus the New York Jets. He was 2 of 2 passing for 9 yards.

The Dolphins have Bye Week this week giving the Rookie QB two weeks to prepare for his first career NFL start. He had been backing up journeyman quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick

The former Alabama QB suffered a hip injury before deciding to forgo his senior season and enter the NFL Draft. He has been rehabbing the injury but now is 100% and have the keys to the Dolphins offense.
