Man Shot on Lower Wetumpka Road in Montgomery

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured.

Police day at about 1:15 a.m. this morning, they and fire medics responded to a shooting in the 2500 block of Lower Wetumpka Road.

Police say they found a man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a  hospital for treatment.

Police have released no other information about the shooting.
