Body Found in Union Springs

A body has been found in Union Springs.

Union Springs Police Chief Ronnie Felder tells Alabama News Network that the body of a Black male was found near Hicks Industrial Road this afternoon. The body has not been identified.

Police are treating this as a death investigation, and the State Bureau of Investigation is assisting.

Felder has no other details.
