Ft. Deposit Man Killed in Butler County Crash

Alabama State Troopers say a Ft. Deposit man has been killed in a single-car crash in Butler County.

State troopers say 28-year-old Willie Thigpen was killed when the car he was driving left the road and hit a tree. Investigators say he wasn’t wearing a seat belt.

The wreck happened on U.S. Highway 31, about 10 miles south of Ft. Deposit, at around 4:15 p.m. Friday.
