WATCH: Circuit judge orders Confederate monument in Tuskegee to be removed
A circuit judge has ordered that a Confederate monument in downtown Tuskegee be removed.
Macon County Circuit Judge Steven Perryman issued the ruling in favor of the Macon County Commission.
The ruling orders the Tuskegee Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy to retrieve and remove the Confederate monument from the property within 60 days.
