Tuskegee Police Conducting a Death Investigation

The Tuskegee Police Department is conducting a death investigation of a 21-year-old man in a skydiving incident.  Police say the man was skydiving at the Tuskegee municipal airfield when he was having trouble with his parachute during his fall. Two dead in Autuaga County Murder-Suicide

Prattville police are investigating a murder suicide. Authorities say Derico Houser, 39, shot and killed his ex-wife Friday around 6 pm. Police issued an alert for Houser’s arrest but he was later found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound Saturday morning. Toyota and Mazda announce Alabama plant

Japanese automakers Toyota and Mazda are building a joint-venture auto plant in Alabama. Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey and company executives made the announcement in a Wednesday news conference.
