Jerome Jones  the weekend news anchor for Alabama News Network. He also reports during the week and covers the Alabama Legislature and politics.

Jerome was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, but calls Montgomery home. For the past 15 years Jerome has been a resident of Montgomery, and is fully immersed into the River Region community.

Jerome graduated from Alabama State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. He is passionate about telling the stories of the people of the River Region and keeping the community informed through news reports.

Jerome believes that honest, accurate journalism is one of the most important jobs in the world. When he is not working, Jerome enjoys the various outdoor opportunities including hunting, fishing and outdoor adventures. Jerome’s hobbies include painting, gardening, wine-making and anything outdoors. A-S-U and Geaux Tigers!
