Montgomery Co. Commission to Seek Legal Opinion as LEAD Academy Asks for Portion of Sales Tax Funds

Charlotte Meadows Wins House District 74 Special Election

An education advocate has been elected to fill an Alabama House seat. According to preliminary results from the Secretary of State’s Office, Republican Charlotte Meadows is the winner of Tuesday’s special election. Meadows defeated Democrat Rayford Mack, 68% to 31%.
