Aircraft technician with Tuskegee Airmen dies at 100 in NYC

    NEW YORK (AP) – A New York City man who served as an aircraft technician with the famed all-black Tuskegee Airmen has died at 100 years of age. Police say a health aide found Wilfred DeFour unconscious and unresponsive inside his Harlem apartment Saturday morning. DeFour was pronounced dead by Emergency Medical Service workers. Montgomery Businessman Greg Calhoun Dead at 66

Died in L.A.

Calhoun’s daughter says her father died this morning at a Los Angeles hospital. Calhoun owned Calhoun foods, which at one time had several locations in Montgomery. The last Montgomery location closed in 2015. Calhoun also worked with comedian Steve Harvey to help bring business to the state.
