Members of the Montgomery County school board have voted unanimously to select Dr. Melvin Brown as the next superintendent of Montgomery Public Schools.
The new superintendent will replace Dr. Ann Roy Moore, who is retiring at the end of the school year after holding the position since 2018.
The Montgomery Public School Board is looking to hire a permanent superintendent. The board held a specially called meeting to discuss details of the search.
